California Native, Salvia red




Another drought resistant, california native, salvia.


It is a beautiful red. Really intense and dark.

      I am not sure if you can use it as a herb. It is from the Salvia family. I replace the front lawn with drought tolerant, California native (at least I think they are :) ). Several of this type were planted. I have to dig a little bit deeper to check if can be eaten...
