Fall is coming... I guess


As I mentioned in the previous post, it is being an interesting season. Our summer started around the third week of August. I had no red tomatoes until then. Now I have tomatoes (another post soon), lots of them.

In the meantime, one of my trees is already turning red, and leaves are falling. Interesting... Is this tree trying to tell me that I should rush and eat all my tomatoes before a frost comes? May be I should....

I cannot remember the type of tree this one is. I had a company 2 months ago that came to my house to remove a tree. They could not tell either, and they very knowledgeable about trees. I asked my neighborhood group... until today I got no answers. This tree grows veryyyyyy slowwwwwwly. I guess that it is a good sign as it is very close to the pavement. I like this trees - ok, ok, I like plants :-)

Some of you might know that I like to play with Gimp - a free image manipulation program, "similar" to photoshop. Having that car in the picture is "not a good thing" :-) Here is an edited picture:
