California Native Iris



Last year, I removed most of the grass in my front yard, and have now California Native, drought resistant plants instead.

This one is an Iris. Light yellow. Beautiful! First time it flowers.

      This is a "different" type of Irises. It is California Native. They are not tall at all. I have some "common" irises in my backyard, and they are much taller, and a very different plant. I have to take pictures of the other colors that are popping up (when planted I had no idea what color they will be....)
